Pre-conference History & Food Walking Tour, Sunday, October 22

For non-golfers, ICE scheduled a history and food walking tour of New Orleans. Professional guides bring local history to life while visiting five signature French Quarter restaurants offering samples. A tour highlight is the jambalaya Guy Fieri featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. The event covers less than a mile and lasts approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. Casual dress and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Space is limited for this event, register early.

The tour starts seven blocks from the hotel. An ICE Planning Committee member will guide participants to the starting location, 816 Decatur St, New Orleans. The meeting area is called ‘The Shops at the Colonnade’, which is part of the French Market complex.

Once the tour is over, you can spend additional time in the French Quarter or return to Harrah's with a Planning Committee guide. The return walk is approximately 25 minutes. Uber and taxis are available for rides to or from the tour.

This event runs concurrently with the golf event.

First Timers Breakfast with the ICE Board, October 23
The ICE Board of Directors is hosting an invitation-only breakfast for first-time conference attendees. The purpose is to welcome you to the conference, introduce you to other new attendees and allow you to meet the Board of Directors. The breakfast is scheduled from 8:00–9:30 AM on Monday. Sorry, exhibitors, guests or speakers are not invited to attend this event.

This event runs concurrently with a contential breakfast in the exhibit hall.

Continental Breakfast, Networking in the Exhibit Hall, October 23
Take advantage of this pre-conference breakfast from 8:00–9:30 AM to connect with old friends, or make new ones. Welcome Luncheon Monday, October 23
The Welcome Lunch is the official opening of the conference. If you aren't arriving Sunday for our optional events be sure to arrive in time to attend. All attendees and exhibitors are invited to join us for lunch which guarantees you get your conference experience off to a great start. Seating will be assigned.

Kickoff Reception and Dinner, October 23
We'll gather outdoors in the early evening for a networking reception to renew past relationships and form new friendships. When ready, we'll sit down to this year's signature event, a traditional Louisiana Shrimp Boil. It's a feast!

Find a table with new and old friends to share stories about work, family, and life. The food and Zydeco band are as good as the conversation; after dinner, catch Monday night football on the big screen or linger over a glass of wine, strengthening connections and enhancing your conference experience.

Your non-employee guest is invited to join us for the kick-off reception and dinner. The subsidized cost is $125.

Premier Networking Reception Tuesday, October 24
Held in the informal setting of the Exhibitor Hall, the Premier Networking Reception provides the opportunity to network with peers, sponsors, and exhibitors. Use this time to learn more about their state-of-the-art products and services. Arrive early so you don't miss the raffles, you must be present to win! Premier Dinner Tuesday, October 24
Join attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors for our Premier Dinner event. This is often the most talked about event of the conference. This year’s dinner is held at the Besh Steak House. In 2013, Gayot named Besh Steak as "one of the top 10 steakhouses in New Orleans" and in 2014 Fodor's Travel listed Besh Steak as "one of the 10 best casino restaurants in the world". New Orleans Homes & Lifestyles declares "Besh Steak is an odds-on favorite to make Harrah's New Orleans a new destination for foodies.”

Conference Sign-In
All conference attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors must sign-in with ICE to pick up your conference name tag, gift and other important items. Sign-in is located in the Vieux Carre Foyer where members of the ICE Planning Committee eagerly await your arrival. Support for downloading and using the conference app will be available. Please remember to bring your app store log-in information. Registration is available during the following hours:
  • Sunday October 22, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM and 5:00–6:00 PM
  • Monday, October 23, 8:00–10:00 AM and 1:30–2:00 PM.

    ICE conference attendees are requested to wear business casual attire (no jeans or shorts please) to all core business agenda segments as well as conference related networking receptions, dinners, and social activities unless specified below.

    Your registration fee includes all ICE conference related meals, reception and associated events. Optional events are described and additional charges are noted on the conference registration form. Travel and hotel accommodations and related charges are not included and are your personal responsibility. Please notify us if at any time in advance of the conference you have a need to substitute an attendee.

    In the unlikely event that an ICE conference or optional event is cancelled for any reason, attendees will be offered a refund of the related registration fee. ICE's responsibility is limited solely to a refund of any registration fee already paid and shall have no further obligation of any type, whether monetary or otherwise. Accordingly, ICE shall in no event have any liability to the registrant and shall have no other obligation to the registrant of any type except as expressly stated in the preceding sentence.

    ICE will take pictures throughout the conference and associated events. They will be used on the ICE website, in The Cube and potentially included in ICE promotional material. If you do not want a picture with you in it used by ICE please send an email to: Ken@theicesite.com.

    Attendee Registration Fees *
    In planning our annual conference, ICE strives to provide the highest conference value at the lowest possible price.

    Your conference registration includes: all educational sessions, Welcome Lunch, our Kick-off Networking Event and Dinner, our annual Premier Networking Reception and Dinner, plus breakfast on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, lunch Monday & Tuesday, and all conference breaks.

    A confirmation of your event selections will be sent to the email address entered on the registration once the form is completed and saved. Retain this document, it includes your registration number and a link if a registration change is necessary. A registration invoice for your accounts payable department will be sent in a second email. Your payment is due 15 days after registration.

    To Cancel Your Conference Registration
    If you cancel your registration on or before September 22, 2017, you will receive a refund less a $100 administrative fee. We cannot accept any cancellations on or after September 23, 2017. Substituting an attendee in your place is always an option and can be done up to the time of the conference. All cancellations and substitutions must be in writing via email to: Ken@theicesite.com.

    Hotel Registration
    The 2017 ICE Conference is hosted by Harrah’s New Orleans located at 228 Poydras Street, October 23–25. Our discounted room rate is $225 plus tax for single or double rooms. The rate is good for three days prior and post conference dates based on availability. Please book early if you want to extend your stay. Hotel guests will be charged the first nights room and tax at booking. Our rate includes guest room internet for two devices plus two fitness center passes per day. Resort fees are waived. The last day to register at the conference rate is Monday, October 2, 2017. Check-in time is 4:00 PM, check-out is 11:00 AM. Any departure after 11:00 AM is subject to a full day’s charge. Hotel guests must cancel a reservation 72 hours prior to their scheduled arrival to avoid a hotel penalty of one night's room plus tax.

If you wish to book seven plus nights please reach out to their call center at 1-877-466-7847 and mention code S101CE7. Harrahs' reservation agents will assist you in booking your reservation. The $15 call-in fee will be waived for these transactions.
