The planning committee is hard at work crafting an outstanding conference emphasizing educational sessions, roundtable discussions, peer networking and state-of- the-art exhibitor products and services. We’re confident this will be an outstanding event for all levels of billing and collection professionals. We will update this page regularly, so check back often. 

The conference is hosted at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center overlooking the Potomac River. While room reservations aren’t open yet, here is a link to their website for viewing the hotel amenities and grounds.

Pre-Conference Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Excursion 
Sunday, October 21 

ICE has arranged an excursion to the Smithsonian Portrait Gallery. Attendees and their guests will travel by deluxe motor coach into Washington, DC to view the nation’s only complete collection of presidential portraits outside the White House. This is a docent-led tour of the “America’s Presidents” collection at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery with additional time to enjoy the museum before returning to the hotel. This event requires advanced registration (not yet available) because space is limited to 50 participants. ICE charges a subsidized rate (amount not yet determined) for this optional event. 

Keynote Speaker
Monday, October 22

Steve McClatchy, author of the award-winning New York Times bestseller, Decide: Work Smarter, Reduce Your Stress & Lead by Example, will provide the keynote entitled “Lead Your Business, Don’t Just Manage the Process”. Vision, mission, values and goals are essential for a team to stay focused and on track.  But even more important are the systems, processes, structure and decision- making that bring them to life.  Management and leadership are very different from one another.  Both are vital to the success of a team but each yield different results.   In this thought provoking and inspirational presentation, you will learn when your team needs management from you and when your team needs leadership. 

Steve’s follow up workshop on Tuesday will amplify his keynote to help managers “Lead Change” while focusing on speed, quality and continuous improvement.

Kickoff Networking Reception - POSE Lounge 
Monday, October 22 

Conference attendees, exhibitors and their guests will take the elevator to the 18th floor POSE lounge to enjoy a breathtaking view of the harbor and the skylines of Washington, DC and Alexandria through floor-to-ceiling windows and a wraparound terrace. We’ll enjoy a cocktail and choose dinner from the variety of hors d’oeuvres and food stations set up throughout the lounge.

Monuments by Moonlight 
Monday, October 22 

Conference attendees, exhibitors and guests will continue networking as we board a deluxe motor coach and prepare to view our nation’s capital and the best of Washington, DC at night! Professional tour guides will help direct your attention so you won’t miss a thing! We will drive by some of the most iconic national monuments and also have a chance to disembark and get an up-close experience at others. This link provides a list of the potential monuments on the tour, the guides decide which ones we see based on time, traffic patterns and what’s going on in the city. This is a highlight of the Washington, DC experience…you don’t want to miss it! 

The Kickoff Reception and Monuments Tour are included with conference registration. The fee for guest participation has not yet been determined. Guests are welcome to attend both for an additional charge of $150.
