Katherine Thomas has accepted a leadership role in Progressive’s efforts to implement and gain greater efficiencies through automation. ICE congratulates Katherine over this exciting new opportunity but regrets the assignment will result in a departure from the Billing and Payment strategies space and result in her stepping down as a member of the ICE Board of Directors.
Katherine shares with us that Progressive is already realizing efficiency benefits through the implementation of various automation technologies. They’ve decided to increase their focus and accelerate efforts to expand and enhance automation that will support Progressive’s continued business growth. We’re excited for Katherine as she has been asked to lead an Automation team that will drive that agenda for Progressive’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Division.
In her early ICE experience, Katherine was quick to become involved. She has been instrumental in cultivating the expansion of our Personal Lines discipline having led multiple conference break-out sessions involving an ever-increasing number of personal lines’ delegates. While serving on the Board, Katherine has helped advance the efforts of the Membership Committee where she was staged to become its chair just prior to this announcement.
On behalf of the entire association, the Board extends its well wishes to Katherine in her new role and looks forward to continued updates from her regarding exciting new developments in the area of automation.
